Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Battery Life mobile application (package name com.batteryinfoo.batteryinfo, the “App”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, displays advertising, and requests permissions. By installing or using the App you agree to this Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect non-personally identifiable technical information such as device model, operating system version, language, region, battery status, app usage events, anonymous identifiers (e.g., advertising ID), crash logs, and approximate network information. We do not knowingly collect names, phone numbers, contacts, photos, or precise location.
2. Advertising Disclosure
The App is ad-supported and displays a variety of advertising formats in order to remain free to download. You should expect to see ads frequently while using the App, including but not limited to:
- Banner ads inside the App's screens.
- Full-screen interstitial ads between actions and after scans.
- Rewarded video ads for optional features.
- Native ads blended into content sections.
- App-open ads when the App is launched or brought back to the foreground.
- Notification-style or out-of-app ads delivered by our advertising partners.
- Recommendation cards, sponsored content, and promotional offers.
Ads may be served by Google AdMob, Google Ad Manager, and other third-party advertising networks and mediation partners. These partners may collect and process data such as your advertising ID, IP address, device identifiers, ad interactions, and approximate location in order to serve, measure, cap, and personalize advertising. By using the App you acknowledge and consent that advertising will be shown frequently and may be personalized based on this data.
You can limit ad personalization at any time through your device settings (e.g., “Reset advertising ID” / “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android).
3. Permissions We Request
To deliver core functionality, optimize battery, and serve advertising, the App may request a broad set of permissions. We request these on the safe side so that current and future features work reliably; not every permission is used at every moment, and some are requested only when needed. Permissions we may request include:
- Battery & device stats — to scan battery health, capacity, temperature, and usage.
- Foreground/background service — to monitor charging and optimize in real time.
- Network access / Wi-Fi state — to load configuration, ads, and updates.
- Storage access — to cache assets, reports, and diagnostic logs.
- Notifications — to alert you about charging, overheating, and optimization tips.
- Display over other apps / draw overlays — to show optimization prompts and ad overlays.
- Ignore battery optimizations / run on boot — to keep monitoring services alive.
- Approximate location — used by advertising partners for region-based ad delivery.
- Phone state / read device information — to identify device model for diagnostics and ads.
- Vibration, wake lock, system settings — for alerts and power-saving routines.
- Access to installed apps — to identify power-hungry apps during optimization.
- Advertising ID — to measure and serve ads.
You can revoke most permissions at any time from your device's Settings → Apps → Battery Life → Permissions. Revoking permissions may disable some features.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to operate, maintain, and improve the App, perform battery scans and optimization, deliver and measure advertising, prevent fraud and abuse, ensure security, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Third-Party Services
We use third-party SDKs and services including Google Play Services, Google AdMob / Ad Manager, Firebase (analytics & crash reporting), and other ad mediation partners. These services have their own privacy policies governing their use of data.
6. Data Retention & Security
We retain non-personal technical data for as long as needed to operate the App and improve our services. We use commercially reasonable safeguards but no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Your Choices
You can uninstall the App at any time (see our Uninstall Guide), reset or opt out of your advertising ID, and adjust notification and permission settings on your device.
9. Changes To This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance.
